Ronald Lee Bohner, 64, passed away March 20, 2014 in his Spring Township residence.
He was the former husband of Linda Sterner, Reading.
Born August 17, 1949 in Reading, he was a son of Mabel Jeannette (Snyder) Weinhold, Reading; and the late William "Red" Bohner.
He was a graduate of Reading High School.
Ron was an electrician for the Reading Railroad and then worked as a service technician for over 25 years for Goodman Vending, where he was due to retire from next week.
He served in the U.S. Army Reserves.
Ron was very active in the Amateur Softball Association of PA as well as the Reading Softball Association. He served as their commissioner, assignor and umpire for over 30 years. He was also an avid golfer and a member of The Manor Golf Club, Sinking Spring.
He is survived by his two children: Kelly A., wife of Brandon D. Brown, West Lawn; Andrew M. Bohner, Sinking Spring; and their mother, Diane J. Keiser, West Lawn. Also surviving are his brother, Robert W., husband of Cathy Bohner, Bernville; and a grandson, Andrew J. Bohner, West Lawn.
