Ronald R. Adam

Ronald Raymond Adam, 68, of Brecknock Township died on January 26, 2008 at 8:36 a.m. in St. Joseph Medical Center where he had been a patient for two days.

A loving husband, father and grandfather, he was the husband of Patricia L. (Kull) DeWald Adam whom he married on December 29, 2004.

Born April 4, 1939 in Reading, he was a son of the late Raymond and Dorothy (Goerner) Adam.

Ronald was thought of as a very hard worker. He was the owner and operator of Windsor Automotive, Reading for 40 years.

He loved boating, water skiing, riding his motorcycle and restoring classic cars and he enjoyed vacationing with his children and grandchildren.

Also surviving is Ronald, husband of Suzanne (Ellwanger) Adam of Spring Township; Kim (Adam) wife of Kenny Kachel; Tammy (Adam), wife of Joe Weihe; and Ronnie DeWald; and two step-sons: Jeff DeWald and Dale DeWald; all of Brecknock Township.

There are two brothers, Gary Ray of Florida and Paul Adam of Delaware and a sister, Suzie Brown of Florida.

In addition there are eight grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

A Memorial service will be on Wednesday at 11 in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave, West Reading. A visitation will be held a half-hour prior to the service.
