Roger H. Adam

Roger H. Adam, 55 of Windsor Township died in his residence on January 2nd, 2016. He was the husband of Amy L. (Salender) Adam. Roger was born in W. Reading and is the son of Harold and Fern M. (Leiby) Adam of Windsor Township. Roger attended Hamburg Area High School. He was employed as a mechanic for many years for Harold Adam Refuse Removal Inc., Windsor Township. He last worked in November 2015. He was a member of Zion's Church, Windsor Castle and the Hamburg Fish and Game Association. Roger was an avid hunter and enjoyed hunting with his sons. He was a Nascar fan and especially liked Dale Earnhardt, SR. In addition to his parents and spouse, he is survived by two sons, Alexander R. Adam, Hamburg and Dale R. Adam, Reading, four step-sons, Andrew Mackay and Zachary Fife both of New Jersey, Brandon and Christopher Rabold, both of Hamburg. Additionally two sisters survive him, Yvonne wife of Dennis Davis, Perry Township, Audrey Trostel, Shoemakersville and one brother, Paul Timothy Adam, Shoemakersville. A daughter predeceased him. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 9th, 2016 from Zion's Church, Windsor Castle at 11:30 AM. A viewing will be held in the church on Saturday from 9:30 to 11:30 AM.
