Rodney David Angus

Rodney David Angus, 80, of San Diego, CA, passed away on January 23, 2025, at Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center.

He was the husband of Leatrice Ann (McDonald) Angus. They were married on August 12, 1967.

He grew up in Mineola, NY and was the son of the late Arthur and Irene (Mertz) Angus.

Rodney was a graduate of New York Institute of Technology earning a BS in Engineering.

He was an engineer working in the field of fire protection for Bechtel, Ralph M. Parsons, Gilbert Associates among others.

Rodney and his family lived in many areas throughout his life including: New York, Pennsylvania, New Orleans, Hawaii, and California. He loved cycling and walking his dogs.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Meredith Groff, Laureldale, PA, and Brad Angus, Vancouver, WA; four grandchildren: Bryanna, Rebekah, Murdoch, and Nora; and two great grandchildren, Carson and Elora.
