Rochelle R. Godboldte

Rochelle R. Godboldte, 68, Reading, died March 9 at 6:58 a.m. in Reading Hospital, where he had been a patient since Feb. 21.

Born in Tampa, Fla., he was a son of the late Robert Godboldte and Flora (Baker) Godboldte Hall.

Godboldte was a career military veteran, serving in the Air Force from 1955 until 1980, serving in the Vietnam War, and retiring as staff sergeant. He was later employed as a mail courier by GPU Corp., Muhlenberg Township, last working in September 1996.

He was a 1955 graduate of Reading High School.

Godboldte, who resided with Elaine Miklesavage, is survived by two brothers, Cordell S., Crofton, Md., and Irvin W., Sinking Spring.

Memorial services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading.
