Rocco A. Deangelo

Rocco A. DeAngelo, 86, died November 25, 2009 in his Exeter Township residence.

He was the husband of Jeanne (Werstler) DeAngelo, whom he was married to for 33 years.

Born in Citta Sant'Angelo, Italy, he was a son of the late James and Rosina (DiMarcantonio) DeAngelo.

Rocco was a mailman by trade, employed by the U.S. Postal Service, Reading.

He was a member of St. Columbkill, Boyertown.

He was an U.S. Navy veteran serving during WWII.

Rocco was a jack of all trades, he enjoyed skiing, fishing, hunting, golfing and traveling. He will be dearly missed.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brother, Louis, husband of Jeanette DeAngelo, Reading, and his sister, Constantine "Dolly" Kingree, Shillington.

Rocco was predeceased by his sister, Helen Knop, in April.

Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
