Robin J. White, 92, formerly of Reading, died May 21, 2007 in her Alexandria, VA home.
Her husband, David White died in 1979.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Martha (Keim) Reigner and William Reigner.
She was a graduate of Reading High School in 1933 and of the University of Pennsylvania in 1937 with a joint degree in art education and industrial art.
Robin was an artist, teacher and draftswoman throughout the course of her professional career which took her to many different corners of the world, from the Pacific Ocean to Europe. Her true passion was art and her vibrant watercolor landscapes were collected by friends and admirers across the country. She enjoyed a one-person gallery show in Easton, MD as recently as last summer.
Survivors include her son, Daniel N. White, Princeton, NJ; and her daughter, Lisa C. (White) Ruane, West Hartford, CT. Four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive her.
Graveside services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. Oley Cemetery, Spangsville. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements. www.kuhnfuneralhome.com
