Robin "Bob" Arthur Heisey

Robin Arthur "Bob" Heisey, 65, of Reading, died November 29, 2014 in Reading Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

He was the husband of Gloria Nancy (Brandt-Croizier) Heisey, whom he married August 5, 1971.

Born August 3, 1949 in Allentown, he was a son of the late Paul and Ethel (Heisey) Leiser.

Bob was a 1966 graduate of Parkland High School.

He was employed in the radiology field for 41 years, having worked as a CAT scan technician for 33 of those years. He was employed with Community General Hospital for 10 years and most recently with Pottstown Memorial Hospital for the past 23 years, last working in July.

Bob served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam Conflict and later served in the U.S. Air Force.

He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. His other passion was fishing.

Bob loved spending time with family and watching sports.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his five children: Michael B., husband of Sheryl Kriebel of Spring Township; Claire E., wife of John H. Gehr of Muhlenberg Township; Christine L. Vaeth of Felton, DE; Annmarie Heisey, partner of Jose Corchado of Reading and Amy R. Heisey of Muhlenberg Township.

There are also thirteen grandchildren surviving: Michael, Madison, Dana, Raymie, Brooke, David, Tiffany, Jordan, Jocelyn, Jasmine, Javin, Astoria and Lilyth and seven great grandchildren.

Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laueldale. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
