Roberto Narvaez

Roberto Narvaez, 79, of Hamburg, passed away at the Laurel Center on July 1, 2024. Born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Abelardo and Concepcion (Vazquez) Narvaez and one of eight children. Roberto was the loving husband of Maria Ann Narvaez, with whom he shared 32 years of marriage until her passing in 2006.

Until his retirement, Roberto was employed as a machine operator at Exide.

During his youth, he was a singer in various Latin music groups, and it was during this time that he crossed paths with Maria, with whom he fell in love. Roberto enjoyed cooking and he had a passion for playing pool. Above all, Roberto excelled as a caring and devoted father who cherished moments spent with his family.

Left to treasure his memory are his children: Robert Narvaez, Jr., of Syracuse, NY, Michael Robert Narvaez, Sr., husband of Tanya Nicole Narvaez, of Muncy, PA, Joseph Anthony Narvaez, of Hamburg, and Ricardo Michael Narvaez, of Hamburg. He also leaves behind twelve grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024 at 3PM. Friends and family will be received from 2-3PM.
