Robert W. Zerbe

Dr. Robert W. Zerbe, 85, died December 7, 2006 in his Wyomissing residence.

He was the husband of Elizabeth M. (Henry) Zerbe.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Earl L. and Anna M. (Sedlack) Zerby.

Dr. Zerbe was a self employed dentist for 36 years in Shillington, retiring in 1989.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.

Dr. Zerbe was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving as a pilot during World War II.

He attended Albright College from 1946 to 1948. He also attended Temple University Dental School, from 1948 until his graduation in 1952.

He is also survived by one son, Craig M. husband of Mary Kay Zerbe, Evanston, Illinois and four daughters, Bonnie A. Zerbe, West Reading, Heather M. (Zerbe) wife of Richard Goodkin, Steinhatchee, Florida, Lisa L. Zerbe, Melbourne, Australia and Megan E. (Zerbe) wife of Blair Mohn, Conestoga. There is also one brother, Richard E. Zerby, Batavia, Illinois. Five grandchildren also survive him.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart R.C.C. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
