Robert L. Weidner

Robert Linwood Weidner, 86, of Oley, died December 10, 2012 in his Oley residence.

Born October 13, 1926 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late James T.R. and Nora C. (O'Connor) Weidner.

He was the husband of Betty A. Weidner, who passed away October 15, 2011.

Robert was employed by Boyertown Auto Body Works for over 40 years as a welder and laborer, retiring in 1987. He was also a custodian for Oley Valley School District.

He received an Honorable Discharge from the United States Army, where he served in World War II.

Robert is survived by his daughters; Betty Ann, Oley, Mitzi, Oley, and Bobbi Weidner-King, Reading. He is also survived by his sister Catherine Jane Houp, Florida.

Additional survivors include eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Robert was predeceased by his son, Linwood R. Weidner who died October 5, 2007, a brother, Raymond Weidner, who was killed during World War II while serving in the United States Army, and a brother James Weidner.

Services for Robert will be held at the convenience of his family.
