Robert Taylor

Robert Taylor, 60, passed away April 17, 2014 in his Adamstown residence.

He had shared the last 18 years with his companion of Waneda Millisock.

Born January 29, 1954 in Detroit, MI, he was a son of the late John and Mary (McCledon) Taylor.

He was a 1971 graduate of Mackenzie High School.

Robert was a driver for New Creation, Ephrata. He enjoyed driving and was proud to be a hard worker.

He was a wonderful, fun loving person who loved spending time with his loved ones and friends, especially his children and nieces and nephews. He could brighten any room and was very outgoing. He enjoyed trips to Ocean City, MD, and Virginia Beach. He was also an avid fisherman and enjoyed cooking and grilling.

Robert was a member of Trinity Church of God, Reading.

In addition to Waneda he is survived by his four children: Ashley C. Taylor, Fiance of Vincent McRae, Reading; Robert J. Taylor, Reading; Bryan, husband of Tarsheima Millisock, Adamstown; and Rosanna, wife of Jimmy Smith, NC. Also surviving are his siblings: Mary, wife of Anthony Littles, Detroit, MI; Janet Taylor, Detroit, MI; Earlean, wife of Adolphus Walker, NC; and Christine Taylor, NC; his grandchildren: Jasiah, Aliyah, Alexis, and Jaedyn; and his goddaughter, Cely Rosa.

Robert was predeceased by his sister, Joan Taylor, and his grandson, Dean Edward McRae.

A viewing will be held Friday from 3 to 5 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Services and burial will be private.
