Robert J. Tamanini, 93, of Wyomissing, entered into eternal rest with his Lord on March 11, 2010 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.
His wife, Mabel A. (Sproul) Tamanini, died October 3, 2003.
Born in Vineland, NJ, he was a son of the late Henry and Victoria (Daldon) Tamanini.
Robert was employed as a press operator for over 20 years, working for the Dana Corporation, Reading, until his retirement in 1979.
He was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola R.C. Church, Spring Township.
Robert was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving in WWII.
He is survived by his daughter, Kathleen, widow of Philip Baisch, Wyomissing. Also surviving are his four siblings: George Tamanini, Nanticoke, Irene, widow of Cliff Joyner, Hazelton, Ellen, wife of Larry Moratelli, Vineland, NJ and Pauline Tamanini, Glen Dale, MD. There are many surviving nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Ignatius Loyola R.C. Church, 2810 St. Albans Dr., Spring Township. A viewing will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be private in Gethsemane Cemetery.
