Robert C. Stewart

Robert C. Stewart, 78 of Windsor Township died April 12 th , 2018 in his residence. Robert was the husband of Mary Lou (Andrews) Stewart.   He was born in Windsor Township and was the son of the late Charles T. Stewart and Bertha (Benjamin) Stewart of Bern Township. Robert served his country as a United State Marine. He worked for 20 years at Carpenter Technology as a dispatcher and last worked at Corrstack, Reading for 20 years until his retirement. Robert was a former member of Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Perry Township. He was a member of Vaux Lodge #406 F. & A.M., Union Fire Company #1, Hamburg, Goodwill Fire Company, Reading, VFW Post 216, Hamburg and was a life member of Pikeville Fish & Game Association.

In addition to his mother and wife, Robert is survived by two sons; Michael W. Andrews, Port Clinton, Jason R. husband of Sandra Stewart, Fleetwood, two daughters; Janet L. wife of Gregg Lonaberger, Wernersville, Sheri wife of Marlin Field, Myerstown, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, sister Doris F. wife of Stephen Leibensperger, Perry Township, brother Edwin L. husband of Simone Stewart, Berks County. A sister, Bertha Adam and a brother, Walt D. Stewart, predeceased him. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc., 40 S. 4 th Street, Hamburg. A viewing will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1: 00 p.m. with burial to follow in Zion's Cemetery. Military Honors will be accorded by Ray A. Master Post 217, Topton, PA.
