Robert L. Snyder

Robert Luppold Snyder, 77, of Muhlenberg Township, died August 12th in Lehigh Valley Cedarcrest Hospital, Allentown.

He was the husband of Dolores J. (Nagle) Snyder.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Paul R. and Dorothy (Luppold) Snyder.

He was a member of Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, Tuckerton.

Snyder was a Air Force Veteran, 148th Fighter Squad, in the Korean War.

He was a 1946 graduate of Muhlenberg High School.

Snyder was the President of his company for 31 years, R. Snyder Builders, Inc., Muhlenberg Township, last working May 21, 2004.

He was a custom builder all over Berks County including the Wheatland Development in Muhlenberg Township.

Other survivors include two sons, Jeffery C. husband of Karen A. (Allen) Snyder of Muhlenberg Township and Andrew R. husband of Lisa J. (Seiders) Snyder of Muhlenberg Township.

He is also survived by a brother, Frederick L. Snyder of Leesport.

There are six grandchildren; Jill E. Snyder, Kirsten L. Snyder, Sarah D. Snyder, Erik A. Snyder, Alan A. Snyder and Aimee L. Snyder.

Services will be Wednesday at 10:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Viewings Tuesday evening 6:30 - 8:00 pm and Wednesday morning 9:30 am until time of service, both in the funeral home. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
