Robert C. Schwenker

Robert C. "Bob" Schwenker, 91 of Shillington, passed away August 18, 2015.

He was the husband of the late Jane Ann (Aebli) Schwenker who died June 2014.

Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Fred and Charlotte (Graf) Schwenker.

Bob was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II.

He was a manager at Eugene Jacobs Clothier from 1970 to 1990 and Tobacco Land from 1991 until he retired in 2011. Both establishments were located in the Berkshire Mall.

Bob is survived by three nieces and two nephews; Gail Matlack, Paul and Bob Schwenker, Nancy Reese and Susan Pope. He is also survived by his "adopted" family of three nieces: Denise Bertolet, Sharon Guiles and Stacy Degon.

He was predeceased by his twin brother Fred "Fritz" Schwenker and his sister Helene Schild.

Services will be Sunday, August 23 at 5 p.m. in Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Dunmore Cemetery, Scranton, PA. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com
