Robert S. Allen

Robert Stanley Allen, 75, of 510 Frontier Avenue, (Bern Township), Reading, Pa 19601, died February 1st in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

He was the husband of Margaret May (Daniels) Allen.

Born in Pottstown, he was a son of the late Richard and Corrine (Kirlin) Allen.

He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.

Allen worked for 36 years as a machinist at Birdsboro Corporation.

He last worked as a driver for five years at Metro Cab Company, Reading, before retiring in 1991.

Allen was a life member of VFW Post #378 of Reading.

He is also survived by brother, Harold Allen of Reading.

Other survivors include a sister, Elizabeth (Allen) Notobartolo of Wyomissing.

Services will be Monday at 10:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Rev. James W. Bowers officiating. Viewing Monday 9:00 am until time of service. Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township.
