Robert Popovitch

Robert Stephen Popovitch, 84, of Lehartsville, died on March 20th 2022, at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was the husband of Constance (Higgins) Popovitch. Born in Plainfield, NJ, he was the son of the late Stephen and Helen (Toth) Popovitch.

In addition to his wife, Robert is also survived by nine children: Robert, James, Dianne, Susanne, Stephen, Andrew, Constance, Kathryn and Helen; thirty-five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Helen Vilkelis of Poughkeepsie, NY and Joyce Cary of Greenville, NC. He was predeceased by his sister, Florence Mazanoski, and his in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Higgins. Â

Visitation will be Sunday, March 27, 2022, from 1:00-5:00 p.m. at Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, 40 South Fourth Street, Hamburg, PA 19526. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, March 28, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 94 Walnut Rd, Hamburg, PA 19526. The family will be having a private burial.
