Robert A. Perry, 74, died October 5th in his residence at 3446 Gray Street, Laureldale.

He was the husband of Nancy H. (Heffner) Perry.

Born in Reading, he was a son of Robert A. Perry and Florence (Barnett) Miller.

He worked for 21 years as a heavy press operator and hook-up man for the Dana Corporation before retiring in 1992.

Perry also worked as a journeyman coremaker, working in several foundries in the Reading area.

He is also survived by two daughters, Darleen M. Perry of Reading and Lorie (Perry) Schollenberger of Robesonia.

Other survivors include two step-daughters, Nadine L. (Moyer) Mikucki of Windsor Township and Jill A. (Moyer) Atkinson of Eureka, Ark., and four step-sons, Robert R. Moyer of Upper Bern Township, Terrence W. Moyer of Sinking Spring, S. Todd Moyer of Spring Township and Drew A. Moyer of Brookesville, Fl.

Perry is also survived by a half-sister, Mary (Kauffman) Rusczkiewicz of Reading.

There are two grandchildren, ten step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a son, Robert Allen Perry.

Services will be Friday at 11:00am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Rev. Richard H. Schaefer officiating. Viewing Friday 10:00am until time of service. Burial will be in Spies-Zion Cemetery, Alsace Township.
