Robert P. Conner

Robert P. Conner, 89, died of natural causes January 14th at 3:33 am in his daughters Shillington residence.

He was the widower of Grace E. (Lutz) Conner, who died September 9, 1998.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Arthur and Daisy (Snyder) Conner.

He was a 1934 graduate of Reading High School and a 1938 graduate of Wyomissing Polytechnical Institute.

Conner was employed 40 years at Northamerican Rockwell, Wyomissing, retiring in 1975 as a Manufacturing Manager.

He was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ, Shillington.

Conner was a past Mount Penn Borough council member from 1962 -1971.

He was also a past president of the Antietam Kiwanis Club.

Conner was survived by a daughter, Linda A. Conner, with whom he resided.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township. Contributions may be made to Parkinson's Disease Research, PO Box 96268, Washington, DC., 20090-6268. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
