Robert T. Norton

Robert T. Norton, 86, of Sinking Spring, died July 6, 2012 in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

Mr. Norton was born August 9, 1925 in Reading, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Albright College, Reading, Pennsylvania with a BA in Mathematics.

Beloved husband of Lucy B Sacco Norton, father to Robert Lawrence Norton, Robert is survived by his four grandchildren, Robert Patrick Norton, Thomas Andrew Norton, Stephen Alexander Norton, Natasha Ann Norton, and several nephews and nieces.

Prior to his retirement in February, 1985, Mr. Norton had a career as an Electrical Engineer with Western Electric and At&T.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

Robert was an active member of St John Baptist De La Salle Roman Catholic Church, strongly devoted to his church, community, and family. His interests included local politics and community service. His wit, humor, and devotion to his grandchildren and family will be sorely missed by his family and dear friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, July 16th at 10 a.m. in St. John Baptist de La Salle R.C. Church. 420 Holland St., Shillington, PA 19607.
