Robert N Hartman

Robert N. "Bob" Hartman, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, 84, died December 4, 2014 in his Richmond Township residence.

He was the husband of Orlea Elizabeth (Wanamaker) Hartman, whom he married March 29, 1952.

Born October 27, 1930 in Quakertown, Bucks County, he was a son of the late Scott W. and Mary Fox (Gressley) Hartman-Wagner

Bob was a 1948 graduate of Kutztown High School.

Bob served in the U.S. Air Force, stationed at Elmendorf AFB, in Anchorage Alaska for over 2 1/2 years

He was employed in sales and ultimately as a branch manager with Snap on Tools for 40 years.

Bob loved cars, machines, tractors, working on the farm and loved to fix things.

He was a mason, serving as grand master of the Henry Knox Field Lodge, Alexandria, VA.

His joy in life was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, with whom he was always willing to share his "Cheetos."

He was a Pop to his nine grandchildren and a Poppop to his twelve great grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his wife, are his three children, Lois Rae "Lori", wife of Charles L. Hall III. of Fleetwood; David L., husband of Tracey Hartman of Dale City, VA and Doreen H., widow of Alan Roper of Shippensburg.

Bob was predeceased by his brother, G. William Hartman, Dec.24,1956.

Memorial Services will be Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 10AM in New Life Bible Fellowship Church, 2960 W. Philadelphia Avenue, Oley. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the church. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
