Robert W Moyer

Robert W. "Bob" Moyer, 68, passed away March 23, 2014 in his Fleetwood home.

Born August 5, 1945 in Pottstown, he was a son of the late Henry and Geraldine E. (Fritz) Moyer.

He was a graduate of Pottsgrove High School.

Bob worked as a machinist for Doehler Jarvis, Stowe, until they closed and then he worked in the janitorial department of Boyertown School District, for 15 years, until his retirement.

He attended New Life Bible Fellowship Church, Oley.

Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, dining out, was an avid Phillies and Eagle fan. He was a member of thePike Township Sportsman Association and participated in Civil War re-enactment with the 7th Tennessee Re-Enactment Group. He adored his children and loved being a grandfather. He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his two daughters: Stephanie, wife of Troy Good, Boyertown; and Wendy L., wife of Thomas Macarro, Hellertown. Also surviving are his brother, Richard Moyer, Pottstown; his sisters: Susanne Miller, Sweet Valley; and Nancy Egolf, Douglassville; and his nine grandchildren.

Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in New Life Bible Fellowship Church, 2960 W Philadelphia Ave, Oley, PA 19547. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. in the church. Burial will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Pottstown. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to New Life Bible Fellowship Church at the above address.
