Robert G. Kleeman

Robert G. Kleeman Jr., 71, of Upland Road, Wyomissing Hills, died of natural causes Jan. 25 at 4:28 a.m. in Reading Hospital, where he had been a patient since Jan. 17.

He was the husband of Barbara L. (Esterly) Kleeman.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Robert G. Sr. and Alice S. Kleeman.

Kleeman had been employed for nine years as building and grounds supervisor by the Antietam School District, retiring in October 1993.

He was a member of St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.

Kleeman was a graduate of Reading High School.

He is also survived by two daughters, Beth Ann (Kleeman) Buck, West Lawn, and Lorie A. Kleeman, Pottsville.

There are also two grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 a.m. in St. Ignatius Church, 2810 St. Alban's Drive, Sinking Spring, Pa 19608. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Viewing will be held Wednesday 9:30 - 10:30 am in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Contributions may be made to the church.
