Robert N. Kerr

Robert N. Kerr Sr., 83, a resident of Berks Heim, formerly of Front Street and Old Mill Road, Wyomissing, died Nov. 30 at 5:55 p.m. in Reading Hospital, where he had been a patient since Nov. 23.

His wife, Doris (Masters) Kerr, died Jan. 8, 1995.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Michael J. and Mary C. (Nolan) Kerr.

Kerr had been employed for over 20 years as an auditor by General Battery and Ceramic Corp., Reading.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.

Kerr was a 1937 graduate of St. Peter High School, Reading.

He is survived by a daughter, Mary L. (Kerr) Romich, Reading, and two sons, Robert N. Jr., Wyomissing, and Philip D., Wernersville.

Other survivors include two sisters, Louise (Kerr) Rumsey, Perkasie, Bucks County, and Mary (Kerr) Hogan, Phoenix.

There are also nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 9 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
