Robert Horace D. Kehl, Sr., 59, of 96 Kehl Drive, Richmond Township, died of natural causes January 25th at 9:45 am in Presbyterian Hospital, Philadelphia, where he had been since January 19th.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Lloyd B. Sr., and Helen M. (DeTurk) Kehl.
He was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, Windsor Township.
Kehl was employed as a farm hand for 17 years at Mill-Joy Farms, Hamburg.
He later worked five years in the same capacity for Harvest Fresh Farms, Shoemakersville, last working January 18th.
Kehl is survived by a daughter, Sandra L. (Kehl) wife of Terry L. Snyder of Perry Township and two sons, Robert H. Jr., husband of Stacy L. (Reinhold) Kehl of Tilden Township and Ray E. Kehl husband of Stacey L. Moser of Perry Township.
Other survivors include three brothers, Lloyd Kehl of Windsor Township, Harold Kehl of Greenwich Township and Larry Kehl of Richmond Township.
He is also survived by three sisters, Evelyn (Kehl) Willman of Boyertown, Dorothy (Kehl) Zimmerman of Centerport and Carole Ann (Kehl) Reimert of Greenwich Township.
There are also four grandchildren, Tiffany Snyder, Brianna Snyder, Shelby Kehl and Wynter Snyder.
Services will be Friday at 10:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Rev. Randy A. Bond officiating. Viewings will be Thursday evening 6:30 - 8:00 pm and Friday morning 9:30 am until time of services. Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township.
