Robert B. Keeney

Robert B. Keeney, 65, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023, at home in Muhlenberg Township. He was the husband of Cynthia L. (Heist) Keeney until her passing in 2019.

Born in Denver, CO, he was the son of the late Leroy and Ruth (Angstadt) Keeney. A graduate of Reading High School's Class of 1975, Bob worked for Manderbach Ford for nearly 40 years as their truck and fleet manager. In his spare time, he enjoyed golf and antiquing, building model cars and riding around in his convertible. He was a life-long fan of Reading High School Basketball and a member of the RHS Squires Club. He also treasured spending time with his only grandson, Max.

Left to cherish his memory are fiancé Frances Blankenship; daughter, Lauren Keeney (partner Joseph) of Wyomissing; brothers, Michael L. Keeney (wife Patty Ann) of Fleetwood and Sean Keeney (wife Tracey) of Stoutdsburg; sisters, Kristi Duffett (husband Chris) of San Antonio, TX and Autumn MacLean (husband Sean) of Sinking Spring; and grandson, Max Bonanno.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a celebration of Bob's life from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 17, 2023 at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading, PA 19611.
