Robert H. Jones

Robert H. Jones, 75, of Kenhorst, died January 2, 2013, in Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Mary Ann (Borelli) Jones.

Born in Tamaqua, he was a son of the late Henry and Eva (Goodman) Jones.

He was a U.S. Army veteran.

Robert was employed as a grinder for 42 years for Columbian Cutlery, Reading, retiring in 2000.

He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed gardening and loved decorating the home for the Christmas holidays.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Mark A. Jones, Kenhorst and Lynn A., wife of Edward Sergott, Utica, NY; five siblings, Albert Jones, Mohrsville, John Jones, Frackville and Kenneth Jones, Reading, Irene Miller, Palo Alto and Catherine, wife of Howard Strause, Elverson and three grandchildren, Edward Sergott, Phillip Sergott and Marilynn Sergott.

Robert was predeceased by two siblings, David Jones and Bertram Jones.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Catharine of Siena R.C. Chapel, 2427 Perkiomen Ave., Mt. Penn, PA 19606. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum.
