Robert D. Hurter

Robert D. Hurter, 46, died of natural causes October 22nd at 6:10 pm in his residence at 2528 Kutztown Rd., Reading, Pa 19605.

He was the husband of Kristie Ann (Wike) Hurter.

Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of Shirley (Ernst) Gantz of Pinellas Park, Florida and the late Joseph Hurter.

He was an Army Veteran.

Hurter worked for a number of years as a independent painting contractor, last working Wednesday.

He is also survived by a son, Joseph R. Hurter, at home.

Other survivors include a brother, Richard Hurter of Reading.

Memorial services will be Monday at 1:00 p.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Rev. Robert A. Stewart officiating. No viewing. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
