Robert Hess Krick

Robert H. Krick, 91, of Booneville, MS, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, in the care of Corinth Hospital. He was the husband of the late Lucille (O'Neill).

Born and raised in Hamburg, PA, he was a son of the late Charles M. Krick and Esther M. (Hess) Krick-Miller. He graduated from Hamburg High School in 1952 before enlisting in the Marine Corps. He served his country honorably, and following his discharge, he enlisted in the Army National Guard. He retired in 1974 as a Captain following two tours of duty in Vietnam.

In addition to his military service, he served as a mill-working instructor at North-East Mississippi Community College and as the director of facilities for the college. A very talented woodworker and luthier, Bob handmade violins for much of the family. He also enjoyed fishing.

Left to treasure his memory are his children, Brian D. Krick (Theresa) of Richmond, VA, and Lori Kleinsmith (Craig) of Hamburg; step-daughters, Melissa and Melanie; grandchildren, Nicholas Kleinsmith (Alison), Amber Krick Hewitt (Joel), Jason Kleinsmith (Elizabeth), and Eric Kleinsmith; and great-grandchildren, Bailey, Wyatt, Paris, Mica, Alexi, Lew, and Toby. Bob is also survived by his brother, Larry Miller (Susan), and sister, Jean Oakes.

He was predeceased by his grandson, David Krick.

Funeral Services for Bob will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, 40 S 4th St, Hamburg, PA 19526, with committal to follow at St. John's Cemetery.
