Robert R. Henne

Robert R. Henne, 81, of Meadow Glen, Wyomissing, formerly of Reading Crest Boulevard, Muhlenberg Park, died July 11 at 10:45 p.m. in Reading Hospital, where he had been a patient since Feb. 12.

His wife, Mildred M. (Wentzel) Henne, died July 18, 1982.

Born in Shoemakersville, he was a son of the late John L. and Anna L. (Reber) Henne.

Henne had been employed for 42 years by Carpenter Technology Corp., first in accounting and later in the claims and fleet department. He was last employed as business manager for Reading Neurological Associates, from 1985 until Feb. 12.

He served as master of Vaux Lodge 406, F&AM, Hamburg, in 1959.

He is survived by two daughters, Marcia R. (Henne) Williams, Denver, Lancaster County, and Debra A. (Henne) Reed, Wyomissing.

There also are five granddaughters.

Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in St. Luke's Cemetery, Shoemakersville.
