Robert E. Hartley

Robert E. Hartley, Jr., 61, formerly of Blandon, passed away on October 28, 2017, in Keystone Villa.

He was the son of the late Robert E., Sr., and Claire T. (Fursha) Hartley.

Robert was a 1983 graduate of Wilson High School and attended Hiram G. Andrews College in Johnstown, PA.

He was worked as a security guard for Security Guards, Inc., for 23 years before retiring in April of 2011.

Robert is survived by two sisters: Patricia H. (Hartley), wife of Terry D. Weiler of Cumru Twp.; and Mary E. (Hartley), wife of David W. Landau, Sinking Spring; nieces and nephews: David W. Landau, Jr., Christine A. Landau, Melissa (Weiler) Gerber, Bea W. Gerber, Oscar W. Gerber, and Elliot Weiler.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A viewing will be held from 10-11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
