Robert P. Hanley, Jr.

Robert P. "Bob" Hanley Jr., 69, passed away October 18, 2016 in Ware Presbyterian Village.

He was the husband of Joanna (Lopez) Hanley, who died April 20, 2015.

Born in Queens, he was the son of the late Robert P. Sr., and C. Frances (McNulty) Hanley.

Bob was a graduate of Richmond Hill High School, New York and Queens Borough Community College and later graduated from Liberty University, where he received his B.S. in Biblical Studies.

He was employed by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers as an electrician for over 40 years until his retirement.

Bob enjoyed horseback riding, stamp collecting and loved to attend all types of fairs. He was also very involved with the church.

He is survived by his son, Steven D., husband of Monika C. Hanley, Oxford, and step-daughter, Vera Jo; brother, Steven Hanley. He is also survived by his aunt, Gloria Kegg; nephews, Steven Hanley Jr. and Bryant Hanley; niece, Christina Hanley; step-granchildren, Matt and David; step-greatgrandchildren, Matthias and Destiny.

Services will be held Monday, October 24, 2016 at 2 p.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading with burial to follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, 650 Fritztown Rd, Sinking Spring, PA 19608.
