Robert E. Hagenman, 84, of Laureldale, died October 21st at 2:25 pm in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, where he had been a patient since October 14th.
He was the husband of Doris V. (Haag) Hagenman, whom he married March 10, 1943.
Born in Reading on February 17, 1922, he was a son of the late Daniel C. and Sallie (Reis) Hagenman.
He was a 1941 graduate of Reading High School.
Robert was a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church, Temple.
He was an Army Veteran of WWII.
Robert was employed a number of years as a line foreman by Dana Corporation, Reading and later as a foreman by Clark Equipment, Reading for 15 years. Robert was last employed 10 years as a guard by the Polymer Corporation, Hyde Park until his retirement in 1987.
He is also survived by a daughter, Linda M. (Hagenman) Katzenmoyer of Laureldale.
Other survivors include a grandson, Kurt E. Katzenmoyer of Alsace Township, five nieces and five nephews.
Services will be Wednesday at 11:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale with the Rev. Lynda Elmer officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Spies-Zion Cemetery, Alsace Township. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Epiphany Lutheran Church, 631 North Temple Blvd., Temple, PA 19560. www.christfuneralhome.com
