Robert H. Strough

Robert H. Strough, 76, of Robeson Township, passed away November 17, 2021, at the Reading Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

He was the husband of Barbara Mary (nee Kraemer) Strough for 55 years. They married on April 16, 1966.

Born in North Tonawanda, NY, he was a son of the late Melvin Sr., and Glenna (Olmstead) Strough.

He was a graduate of Chautauqua High School, NY.

Robert was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Gibralter.

Robert was a Master Falconer. He loved anything that flies; model airplanes, falcons, and eagles. Robert also enjoyed the great outdoors, hunting, fishing, and shooting.

A true fighter with a giant spirit to match, Robert was a dedicated husband, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. His friendly personality, caring nature and love of his family will be greatly missed.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children: Philip Strough, Robin Ojea, Brett Strough and Sherry Strough; two sisters, Patricia Richmond and Connie Black. Eleven grandchildren and three great- grandchildren also survive him.

Robert was predeceased by three siblings, Ronald Strough, Melvin Strough, Jr., and Nancy Strough.

Service will be Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at 11 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, 1035 Old River Rd, Birdsboro, PA 19508. Burial will be private. Friends may call Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church at the above address. Edward J.
