Robert H. Price

Robert H. Price, 80, formerly of Laureldale, passed away March 23, 2014 in Keystone Villa, Fleetwood.

His wife of 50 years, Marie D. (Frederic) Price, died in 2004.

Born January 24, 1934 in Reading, he was a son of the late Robert John and Kathryn May (Stricker) Price.

Robert was a graduate of Reading High School.

He worked for Western Electric/AT&T for 37 years, retiring in 1995.

Robert enjoyed fishing, hunting, and trap shooting. He loved spending time with his family and going on vacation to the beach and the Bahamas.

He was a member of Holy Guardian Angels R.C. Church, Hyde Park.

Robert was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran, serving in the Korean War.

He is survived by his four children: Debra (Price), wife of Ronald Moyer, Muhlenberg Township; Brian R., husband of Susan (Gerhard) Price, Bernville; Robert J. Price, Laureldale; and Troy D., husband of Christine (Crivelli) Price, Reinholds. Also surviving are his six grandchildren: Tiffany (Moyer), wife of Carmine Tarantino, Austin Price, Chad Price, Kelsey Price, Logan Price, Skyler Price and two great-grandchildren: Joey Tarantino and Carmine Tarantino.

Robert was predeceased by his brother, James J. Price.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Guardian Angels R.C. Church, 3121 Kutztown Road, Hyde Park. Viewings will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9 to 10 a.m., both in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Rd., Laureldale.
