Robert Patton Gordon

Robert Patton Gordon, 68, died December 28, 2014, in his Lower Heidelberg residence.

He was the husband of Virginia R. "Ginny" (Garrigan) Gordon, to whom he was married to for nearly 25 years.

Born in Collin County, TX, he was the son of the late Robert P. Gordon, Sr. and Micheline M. (Guittett) Musser.

Robert served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.

He was self-employed for many years and concluded his professional career as a truck driver for New Holland Concrete, last working in 2009.

Robert was an expert mechanic, he had a passion for cars, could fix any engine, and loved to ride and race cars.

His family was most important to him, he especially loved to spend time with his grandchildren; he always saved his biggest smile for them.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two children, Erica L. (Rapp), wife of David A. Rotenberg, Sinking Spring; and David H., husband of Cynthia F. Rapp, Robesonia. Five grandchildren: Kaila, Hunter, Abigail, Gavin and Brady also survive him.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
