Robert E. Fisher

Robert E. Fisher, 81 of Temple, died November 27, 2008.

He was the husband of Dolores G. (Garner) Fisher.

Born July 5, 1927 in Reading, he was a son of the late Clara (Fisher) Wells Bair.

Robert was employed by Hosiery-Mills, Berks County, as a knitting machine fixer and a foreman for over 50 years, retiring in 1992.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #227.

Also surviving are two daughters, Diana Jane (Fisher), wife of Ronald P. Wagner of Downingtown and Bobbie Lyn (Fisher), wife of Robert D. Pawling of Temple; a grandson, Brian R., husband of Traci L. (Sayers) Pawling and a great-grandson, Jackson Henry Pawling.

In addition there is a half brother, Jack Wells of Reading and five half sisters, Jean (Wells) Close, Clara Wells, Paula (Wells) Valentine, Linda (Bair) Tomasewski and Bonnie (Bair) Wojechowski all of Reading.

Private graveside services will be held in Pleasant View Cemetery, Spring Township. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangements.
