Robert D. Deem

Robert D. Deem, Jr., 85, of Wyomissing passed away February 12, 2013 in the Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Virginia C. (Fisher) Deem.

Born in West Reading he was a son of the late Robert D., Sr. and Anna (Rhodes) Deem.

He was a 1945 graduate of Reading High School and a graduate of Temple University School of Pharmacy.

Robert was a pharmacist, working for Rundle Pharmacy of Reading, retiring in 2000.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Reading.

Robert was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving in WWII and served as a pilot in the Korean War.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his two sons: David M. Deem, Sinking Spring and Dr. Thomas E., husband of Lisa P. Deem, Blue Bell. Also surviving is his brother, Donald D., husband of Barbara Deem, West Lawn. Two granddaughters, Sarah Deem and Stephanie Deem also survive him.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League, P.O.
