Robert D. Daubert

Robert D. Daubert, 80, of Shillington, died March 25, 2013, in Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

He was the husband of Jacqueline M. (McLean) Daubert.

Born in Valley View, Schuylkill County, he was a son of the late Charles I., Sr., and Emma (Klinger) Daubert.

He was a 1950 graduate of Shillington High School. That same year, he was awarded state Pole Vault Championship along with his twin brother Dick.

Robert was employed in sales for 45 years by Edwards Business Systems.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, David A., husband of Mary Lou, Berthaud, CO; his brother, Richard L. Daubert. West Reading; his sister, Mary Huntzinger and four grandsons.

Robert was predeceased by his son, R. Christopher Daubert; his brother, Charles I. Daubert, Jr. and his sister, June Schlegel.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
