Robert C. Camelier, 60, of Sinking Springs, died November 4, 2007 in the Reading Hospital.
He was the husband for 38 years to Mary E. (Toughill) .
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of Robert B., Philadelphia, and the late Thelma (Carver) Camelier.
He was employed by Whitman's Chocolates for 17 years, General Manager of Pennsylvania Optical, Reading for 5 years, and the Owner and Candy Broker for SCS Sales, Reading for 10 years, retiring in December 2006.
Robert was a member of St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church, Reading, and served as a co-chairman of the Building Committee from 2003-2004 and played an active role in the renovations of St Margaret's, and he was on the Financial committee for the church and school at St. Margaret's.
He was a Member of the candy Hall of Fame 2002, Hershey, PA.
Robert is survived by a sister Gloria M. (Camelier) wife of John Mangini, Bensalem, PA
Other survivors include three nieces Maria Theodorou, Jennifer Toughill, and Jaclyn Toughill.
There are also five nephews John Mangini, James Toughill III., Joseph Toughill, Jonathan Toughill, and Justin Toughill.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 11am in St. Margaret's Church 925 Centre Ave, Reading PA 19601. Burial will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum, Muhlenberg Township. Friends may call Thursday from 9:30am.-11:00am. in the church. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Margaret's Church at the above address. Edward J.
