Robert C. Miller, 85, of South Heidelberg Twp., died June 24, 2014, in Mifflin Center.

He was the husband of Ann E. (Hutt) Miller, to whom he was married to for 64 years.

Born in Pottstown, he was a son of the late Daniel and Edna (Embody) Miller.

Bob graduated from Pottstown High School in 1947.

He was the owner/operator of Robert C. Miller Carpentry.

Bob was a member of Wyomissing Church of the Brethren and a former member of the Coventry Church of the Brethren, where he served on the church board and the property commission.

He was an avid hunter, fisherman and bowler; and was a longtime member of the R&W Hunting Club, Huntingdon, PA. Bob loved sports, especially the Philadelphia teams and coached baseball in the Babe Ruth League. He was a Civil War buff.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Jeffrey, husband of Shirl Miller; Brian Miller; and Keith Miller, partner of George J. Willias. There are four siblings, Donald, husband of Madelyn Miller; Richard Miller; Jean, wife of Mike Cohrac and Tom Miller. Two grandchildren, Travis and Lyndsay and one great-granddaughter, Kaylah also survive him. He was predeceased by two siblings, Ken Miller and Betty Miller.

Services will be Friday at 12 noon in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading with burial to follow in Pleasant View Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Contributions may be made to: Wyomissing Church of the Brethren, 2200 State Hill Road, Wyomissing, PA 19610.
