Robert Calvin Frymoyer, 80, of Hyde Park, died June 18, 2013 in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center.
He was the husband of the late Catherine May (Stiefel) Frymoyer who died January 21, 2005.
Born January 5, 1933 in Reading, he was a son of the late Clarence Segnor and Florence Emily (Boyer) Frymoyer.
He was a graduate of Reading High School, class of 1950.
Robert was employed with the U.S. Postal Service for 30 years. He was the postmaster for Womelsdorf, Elverson and Temple Post Offices.
He was a member of Grace Alsace United Church of Christ, Muhlenberg Township.
Robert served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War and served a year in combat in Korea.
Surviving are his three children: Denny R. Frymoyer of Newport News, VA; Curtis S. Frymoyer of Muhlenberg Township and Kelly M. (Frymoyer), wife of Scott Dugan of Fleetwood.
Other survivors include his six grandchildren: Kristen M., wife of Justin Clay; Shawn R. Frymoyer; Christopher C. Frymoyer; Allison J. Frymoyer; James S. Dugan and Eric C. Dugan and a great granddaughter, Addyson M. Clay.
In addition, there is a brother, Eugene Frymoyer of Reading; two sisters, Jeanette (Boyer) McCusker of Pahrump, NV and Shirley (Frymoyer) Amole of Reading; a half-brother, Wayne Boyer of Waynesville, NC; a step-brother, David Boyer of Lanton, NC; a half-sister, Diane (Boyer) Wass of Elkton, MD and four step-sisters, Mary (Boyer) Spayd of Robesonia, Sue (Boyer) Schmeck of Reading; Janet (Diefenderfer) DeAngelo of Reading and Evelyn (Boyer) Anzelone of Helena, AL.
He is also survived by his loving companion, Rosemarie McLean.
Robert was predeceased by two sisters, Dorothy Frymoyer and Darlene Nuss; a brother, Clarence S. Frymoyer, Jr. and a half-sister, Florence (Frymoyer) Gibson.
Graveside services will be held Saturday at 11 in Charles Evans Cemetery, 1119 Centre Avenue, Reading. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangements.
