Robert Michael Bova

Robert M. Bova, 67, of Muhlenberg Township, died December 3, 2014 in the Lebanon VA Medical Center.

He was the loving husband of Julia A. (Snyder) Bova, whom he married almost 24 years ago on December 8, 1990.

Born in Olean, NY on April 11, 1947, he was the son of the late Mitch and Grace (Reynolds) Bova.

Robert worked in the steel industry.

He was a US Army veteran, serving in Korea during the Vietnam War; upon his return he was stationed in White Sands, New Mexico.

Robert thoroughly enjoyed fishing, hunting and was an avid NASCAR enthusiast.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Troy E., husband of Jennifer M. Bova, Mohrsville; his daughter, Lisa M. Bova, Oregon; and his step-son, David A. Snyder. He is also survived by two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Viewings will be held Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
