Robert E. Boran

Robert E. Boran, 94, of The Heritage of Green Hills passed away on October 7, 2015 at his residence. Bob was the husband of Ingeborg (Werner) Boran to whom he was married to for 57 yerars.. He was born in Middleport, PA. on September 3rd, 1921 and was the son of the late Robert and Ellen (McDonald) Boran. He was a 1939 graduate of Blythe Township High School, New Philadelphia and attended the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WWII. Robert was a self- employed insurance agent for 40 years. He was a member of St. Benedict's Roman Catholic Church, Mohnton. He was a member of the American Legion of Shillington, Valley Forge V.F.W. and the Maxwell Club of Philadelphia. His wife Ingeborg and several nieces and nephews survives Robert Boran... Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamburg.
