Robert G. Becker

Robert G. Becker, 64, died March 12, 2007 in the Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Carol M. (Good) Becker.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Russell V., Sr. and Mary (Zawislak) Becker.

He was a 1960 graduate of the Reading High School and also attended Penn State Berks.

Robert was a draftsman for Agere for 39 years. Later he worked for All-County & Assoc., Oley until 2006.

He was a member of St. John Baptist de la Salle, Shillington, where he also served as an usher.

He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran.

Robert is also survived by his son, Matthew R. husband of Jennifer Becker, Robesonia; and his daughter Lisa M. (Becker) wife of David Conrad, Shoemakersville.

Other survivors include his brother, Russell V. Becker, Jr., Sinking Spring, and his sister, Diane M. (Becker) wife of Mark Boni, Pottstown. Five grandchildren, Jacob, Wyatt, Abigail, Alyssa and Shane also survive him. He is predeceased by one granddaughter, Amanda.

Family and friends are invited to gather Saturday at 9:15 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. John's R.C.C. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
