Robert Allen Stoudt

Robert Allen Stoudt, 82, of Longswamp Township, died February 28, 2009 in St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township.

Born December 8, 1926 in Berks County, he was a son of the late Elmer Stoudt and Elsie M. Stoudt-Moyer.

Robert was employed as a candymaker at Linette's Candy, Reading and for himself out of his own home. He most recently was employed as a cook at Frymoyer's Hotel, Muhlenberg Township for 10 years.

Surviving is a niece, Tammy Stoudt of Birdsboro, a nephew Stanley Stoudt of Reading a great-niece Michelle Stoudt of State College, and her two daughters, Alexis and Ainsley and a great-nephew Sean Stoudt of Fleetwood and his two children, Nicholas and Shelby.

Robert was predeceased by two brothers, Clarence E. and Harold Stoudt.

Graveside services will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Bern Cemetery, Rt. 183 and Old Bernville Road, Bern Township.
