Robert G. Ahrens, Jr.

Robert G. "Bobby" Ahrens, Jr., 67, passed away December 14, 2014, in his Wyomissing residence.

He was the husband of JoAnn M. (Adams) Ahrens.

Born in West Reading, he was a son of the late Robert G. and Olive (Denny) Ahrens.

He was a graduate of West Reading High School in 1965 and Southern, IL. University.

Bobby was employed by RM Palmer for over 30 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Nikki Ahrens, Wyomissing; two step-children, John P. Hansbury, West Reading and Michele, wife of Jason Eberhart, Wyomissing and his brother, Richard, husband of Michelle Ahrens, West Lawn. Five grandchildren, Robert, Derrick, Brayden, Kennedy and Landon; his niece, Danielle and his nephew, Ryan also survive him.

Memorial Services will be Thursday at 6 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. Burial will be private. Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 6 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Ave., Reading, PA 19605.
