Robert A. Myers

Robert A. (Bob) Myers, 77, of Wyomissing, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, in the care of Reading Hospital. He was the loving husband of Linda (Little), with whom he celebrated 56 years of marriage.

His parents were the late Lehman E. (Pete) and Natley B. (Bush) Myers. Bob lived his first ten years in Emporium, Pennsylvania, before his family moved to Williamsport, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Loyalsock High School in 1966 and Lycoming College in 1970.

Bob and Linda moved to Reading Pennsylvania in 1970 where they started their own family and Bob began a finance and Human Resources career at Earnst & Earnst, followed by Talbott Knitting Mills and Wright's Knitwear Corp. From 2001 through 2014, Bob and Linda owned and operated Sign A Rama of Wyomissing.

He was a believer and a member of West Lawn United Methodist Church from 1970 until his passing, serving in several volunteer roles.

A golfer from an early age, Bob continued to enjoy the sport throughout his life. Athletic in young adulthood, Bob played softball for the Exeter Bulls and basketball for the Peanut Bar. He was a tremendous sports enthusiast and enjoyed attending football games of Wilson High and Penn State and all of the Philadelphia teams - watching any and all sports on TV.

Bob treasured time with his family, especially annual vacations to Ocean City, NJ., and frequently returning to visit family in Williamsport.

Left to cherish Bob's memory is his wife, Linda; their two children, Chris Myers, husband of Renee (Crane), of Arlington, VA, and Amanda Myers of Oakland, CA; grandchildren, Mady, Jack, Max, and Shuai Myers; and his brother, Jim Myers and wife Diane.
