Robert A. Hall, 69, passed away on August 24, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Karen Kay Wisniewski-Hall. They shared 37 years of marriage together.
Born in Boulder, CO, he was the son of the late Richard A. and Mary (Clark). Robert received his Bachelors degree from Lipscomb University as well as his Master’s Degree from Vanderbilt University. He built a career working for the U.S. State Department as an IT Manager.
Robert was just shy of 40 years of government service, with 35 years of worldwide overseas assignments in, but not limited to, Tunisia, Union of Myanmar, Thailand, Australia, India, Canada, Afghanistan, Washington DC, and Russia. Robert was an active member of Reading City Church in West Reading, volunteering his time to the food ministry, Heritage Park clean-up, and teaching pre-k Sunday school. He enjoyed reading, being outdoors, especially hiking and running in marathons.
In addition to his wife, Karen Kay, those cherishing Robert’s memory are his sons, Mackenzie Hall and Lincoln Hall, both of West Reading; his brothers, R. Scott Hall (Cookeville, TN); Gary Hall (Anita Kay) ( Nashville, TN); and sister-in-law Pat Hall (Cookeville, TN) ; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends across the world.
The family would especially like to thank the entire staff at Tower Health McGlinn Cancer Institute, Reading Hospital Hematology Oncology, and Tower Heath at Home Hospice for their professionalism, compassion, and care.
A celebration of Robert’s life will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at 11:00 am at Reading City Church, 644 Penn Ave, West Reading, PA 19611. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to Reading City Church at the address above, or to Lipscomb University.
